We are living in unsettling times. Progress we once thought inviolable now feels threatened.
One constant is the NC Council of Churches and our commitment to a more just, united, and peaceful society. Our faith calls us to love one another, protect the vulnerable, and work together toward a beloved community. We continue to be unwavering in pursuing those goals.
Your donation helps us continue what began in 1935 out of the recognition that racial segregation was antithetical to Christ’s teachings. Since that time, our work has expanded to include issues ranging from farmworkers, migrants, and refugees, to the health of congregants, care of creation, voting rights, economic justice, public education, food justice, rural communities, and more. If there’s a way to make North Carolina a better place for all, we’re probably working on it.
