Our faith traditions call us to seek abundant life, flourishing in mind, body, and spirit. Behavioral health is an essential part of that flourishing. It includes our mental and emotional wellbeing, how we cope with stress and life’s challenges, our relationships, and conditions such as anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders. Behavioral health is shaped not only by individual experiences but also by the communities where we live, work, learn, play, and worship.
Join us for a day of learning, connection, and experiential exploration of how faith communities can help people and communities thrive. Together, we will consider not only how we respond when people are struggling, but also how we create the conditions that help individuals, families, and communities thrive. Whether you are a faith leader, lay leader, health ministry volunteer, community partner, or simply someone who cares about the well-being of your community, you will leave with practical ideas for supporting abundant life in your faith community and beyond.
