Sanford Faith & Mental Health Summit Schedule

Thursday, March 13 | 10 a.m.-3 p.m. | Saint Luke United Methodist Church, Sanford

9:30 AM – Gathering, Coffee & Light refreshments

10:00 AM – Welcome & Opening Meditation

10:15 AM – Keynote Plenary with Tonya D. Armstrong, Ph.D., M.T.S., LP, HSP-P

Dr. Armstrong, a licensed psychologist, minister, and founder of The Armstrong Center for Hope, will guide participants through this engaging event that highlights the intersection of faith and mental well-being. With her expertise in congregational care, academic leadership, and advocacy, Dr. Armstrong will equip attendees with tools to create trauma-informed spaces that promote emotional, spiritual, and communal healing. The summit will include breakout groups and small group discussions, creating opportunities for deeper conversation, connection, and collaborative learning.
