Afternoon activities program for older adults in Transylvania County (Call for current availability: 828-884-2255) - LunchPlus
Hot, nutritious lunch and fun activities at two locations: the Silvermont Mansion at 364 Main Street in Brevard or the Quebec Community Center at 11846 Rosman Highway in Lake Toxaway, across from T.C. Henderson Elementary.- Age is the only criterion for county residents to take part. You must be at least 60. For couples, both qualify as long as one partner is 60. Transportation may be available, depending on where you live in the county
- Mobile Meals – Transylvania County
This program serves a mid-day meal five days a week to homebound older adults in the upper end of Transylvania County. - Liquid Nutrition Supplement Program
Ensure/Glucerna liquid nutritional supplement products are available at little or no cost to low income Transylvania County residents with documented medical risks.
