The McDowell Senior Center in Marion and the A.C. “Bud” Hogan Community Center in Old Fort are the designated focal point on aging service providers where older adults come together for a variety of activities, programs and services. The senior centers promotes community awareness of the needs and talents of older adults by providing the opportunities to make new friends and renew old friendships, improve physical fitness, learn new skills, get information and advice, develop creatively, volunteer in a variety of different areas and have lunch with friends.
