Lakeview Center for Active Aging has had the distinction of being a NC Senior Center of Excellence since 2007. Overlooking beautiful Lake Tomahawk in the heart of Black Mountain and the Swannanoa Valley, the center is surrounded by a .55 mile walking path, tennis courts, fishing hot spots, playground, gazebo, picnic pavilion, and an outdoor swimming pool.
The Senior Center offers a Nutrition Site that serves hot catered lunches five days a week and a host of programs and activities to meet all activity levels for adults ages 50+. They are also a one stop shop for Information, Assistance, and Referrals for all things aging.
