As Cleveland County’s leading agency on aging, The Council on Aging promotes aging as a normal process. The Council on Aging of Cleveland County will significantly influence the lives of older adults of Cleveland County and improve their quality of life by providing opportunities for:

- Application of wisdom, experience, skills and insight in meaningful ways
- Encouragement and maintenance of healthy, independent life styles in an atmosphere that acknowledges the value of human life, affirms dignity and self worth of older adults, and maintains a climate of respect, trust and support, and by becoming an integral part of the aging network and serving the community.
