Understanding ACEs and Trauma (Part I)

October 23, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm

Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) are forms of early childhood trauma that can have a strong impact on development and future adult health. Join Crystal Imes, BSW, and Annette Snider, LMFTA, both certified Connections Matter trainers, a program of Prevent Child Abuse NC for part one of Resourceful Communities’ two-part webinar series on ACEs.

Participants will gain a better understanding of the science behind ACEs and why understanding the science or being “trauma-informed” matters in our everyday interactions with youth and adults in rural programs and ministries.

This is a training but not official certification.  Information on certification can be provided.

Click here to register! Registration ends on Tuesday, October 20, 2020
