A day of inspiration and practical suggestions for transforming your congregation’s vision into action for addressing food insecurity. Morning workshops and afternoon visits with food ministries and a beautiful community garden.
Hear action leaders discuss ideas and resources for congregations that would like to start or expand a food ministry. Featured speakers are Joy Williams of Partners in Health and Wholeness; Baylee Smith of First Christian Church; and Margaret Evans of Church World Service.
While there is a $15 fee for a local lunch and transportation to tour sites, no one will be turned away due to lack of funds. If you would like to purchase a tickets on a sliding scale, please e-mail hannah@rafiusa.org.
