SUMMARY:Wilmington Roadshow Lunch
DESCRIPTION:Join the Council for lunch to learn a bit of our history and current initiatives along with strategies and visions for going forward.  We are made of 18 denominations across the state and work in multiple arenas ranging from Immigration to the Environment\, from Living Wage advocacy to the Opioid Crisis — matters that affect the daily lives of the people who live in our state. Taking our cues from the Old Testament Prophets and the New Testament Good News\, we address the issues that God has chosen for us. We will start at 11:55AM\, so come early to sign in\, and we will finish promptly at 1:00PM for those who have a busy afternoon. \nLunch is free\, so bring a friend\, bring two\, bring as many as you like\, just be sure to have everyone sign up. \nClick here to RSVP or call the office at 919-828-6501.

SUMMARY:Wild Goose Festival
DESCRIPTION:The Wild Goose Festival is a 4-day art\, music\, and story-driven transformational experience grounded in faith-inspired social justice. Come to not only learn from incredible speakers\, but also to engage in robust and respectful conversation with thought leaders\, writers\, dreamers\, artists\, visionaries\, and social justice activists. The 2018 collection of co-creaters includes Jen Hatmaker\, Jon Pavlovitz\, Jacqui Lewis\, Amy Grant\, and civil rights icon Ruby Sales. \nLooking for a summer weekend event for your youth group? Wild Goose has special event pricing to make attendance as accessible as possible for youth groups. Located in the middle of this festival of co-creation\, faith\, and spiritually fueled fellowship is a youth tent that will provide programming on subjects that matter to teens. Few other events speak so much to the passions of teenagers in the church with open conversations about gender identity\, active collaboration on faith inspired justice work\, and authentic open dialogue on the topics that matter to them most. Click here for more information about the Wild Goose for youth. \nClick here to purchase your tickets.
